In this role, you will document the company's financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and manage payroll. Responsibilities Enter financial data and transactionsAnalyze budgets and other financial informationPrepare federal and state individual and business income tax returns. Prepare financial reports and statementsVerify the accuracy of transactions that have been enteredPrepare trial balances and adjusting journal entriesMeet with clients and their accounting teamParticipate in strategic planningQualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting or a related field Valid CPA certification in compliance with the state Board of Accountancy regulationsKnowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systemsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
