Operations Coordinator

Akkodis is seeking a Utility Operations Coordinator for a 24+ months Contract position with a client located in Reading, PA.Pay Range: $50-$56/hr. On W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)Summary:The Contract Distribution Technician will provide dedicated support for Long-Term Infrastructure Improvement Plan (LTIIP) projects. This role ensures timely execution of critical infrastructure initiatives by managing materials, coordinating engineering and commissioning activities, maintaining accurate data, and supporting project tracking. The position is fully charged to LTIIP budgets and plays a key role in mitigating operational risks caused by staffing attrition and increased workload.Responsibilities:Material ManagementReview and verify material lists for accuracyMonitor delivery schedules and incoming shipmentsNotify crews and leadership of delays or issuesCoordinate emergent material needs with local DTsEngineering & CommissioningTrack engineering prints and project developmentCoordinate commissioning with external resourcesAlert leadership to engineering or commissioning delaysData Entry & SystemsMaintain accurate equipment records in CascadeEnsure correct data for nameplates, triggers, serial numbers, and service datesProject TrackingUpdate tracking sheets for material and engineering deliverySupport future project planning including Cascade orders and RPAsOperational SupportAssist external crews with local coordinationContribute to long-term project developmentQualifications:Experience in substation operations or related technical fieldStrong organizational and communication skillsFamiliarity with material managementFamiliarity with engineering processesProficiency in data entry and systems such as CascadeAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesIf you are interested in this Distribution Technician role in Reading, PA then please click APPLY NOW.
