Apply now!Case Packer Responsibilities:Maintain area, equipment and personal sanitationPrepare, weigh, carry, load and space productOpen and rework productOperate case packer and case erectorTroubleshoot, clean, and maintain case packerPerform product changeovers, utilizing the matrixReview order specs and assemble / pack boxesPerform quality checks to ensure product is packaged according to customer specifications on production sheet (price / label / packaging)Communicate to line personnel on order specs and quality issuesPalletize productDisassemble and assemble equipmentSanitize lines when neededEnter data on production reportsRequirements for Case Packer:High School diploma or GEDBasic understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipmentAbility to make minor decisions based on standard practicesAbility to read and prepare production reports and comprehend production worksheetsAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divideMES and SAP experienceBasic computer skillsAbility to perform repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 50-60 degreesAbility to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder and pushing/pulling/carryingAbility up to 40 lbsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
