Overview:
The Workforce Planning Program Manager plays a crucial role in aligning talent capabilities with both immediate and long-term strategic goals of Beebe Healthcare. This position involves monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting staffing needs to develop effective workforce strategies that meet industry benchmarks and support Beebe’s organizational objectives. As a key advisor to senior leadership, including Directors and above, the Program Manager will provide expert guidance on staffing models, benchmarking, and the creation of data-driven staffing strategies. This role also includes reporting on key staffing metrics to executive leadership, enabling informed decision-making and strategic alignment across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Consult with healthcare leaders to devise staffing schedules that align with patient volumes, productivity benchmarks, and budgetary constraints. This includes consulting with Senior leaders (Dir+) on workforce plans and staffing proposals.
Analyze workforce utilization and operational data to accurately forecast staffing needs and optimize resource allocation.
Work closely with department heads and HR to gauge current and future staffing requirements, ensuring all departments are adequately staffed.
Develop, implement, and maintain dynamic staffing and workforce plans for both immediate and strategic long-term needs.
Proactively monitor staffing levels to identify potential shortages or surplus situations, initiating corrective measures as needed.
Analyze and address staffing issues such as vacancies and leaves of absence, coordinating with HR and recruitment for effective resolution.
Provide regular reports and insights on staffing metrics to senior management, recommending strategic adjustments to enhance efficiency and meet organizational goals.
Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive workforce strategies that support business objectives and improve overall productivity.
Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented workforce strategies, adjusting based on changing business conditions and market demands.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of workforce strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
BA degree in a related field.
5+ Years Experience in workforce planning/staffing within healthcare.
Experience with Premier benchmarking.
