Summit combines field expertise with strong customer relationships to serve residential markets with reliability and consistency.Where You Come InAs a Driver at Summit Stairs & Millwork, you'll be responsible for the safe, efficient transportation of stairs and millwork products to our customers. You'll play a key role in delivering a positive customer experience, ensuring orders arrive on time and in excellent condition. This position reports directly to the Shipping Manager.We're looking for someone who values safety, reliability, and great service - someone who takes pride in representing Summit on the road.What You'll DoDriving & DeliveryOperate box trucks (up to 20 feet) in compliance with all DOT regulations.Deliver products to customers safely, efficiently, and courteously.Build strong relationships with customers through professional and dependable service.Loading & UnloadingLoad and unload materials, verifying contents against work orders and shipping tickets.Report overages, shortages, or damages promptly and accurately.Documentation & CommunicationConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.Retain and submit gas receipts for monthly audits.Take and email proof-of-delivery photos to the Shipping Manager.Communicate customer concerns or delivery issues promptly.What You'll BringValid driver's license and clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)DOT certification is a plus!Reliable attendance and punctualityAbility to lift/move up to 200 lbs with team assistanceFamiliarity with ramps, docks, pallet jacks, and hand trucksPhysical ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform other job-related tasksStrong depth perception and vision required for driving and deliveryPersonal cell phone with GPSPay & Schedule$18-$20 per hour, based on experienceFull-time role based in Stockbridge, GAMonday through Friday scheduleOccasional overtime may be requiredWhy MBP Group?As part of the MBP Group family, you will be connected to a broader network of specialty building businesses serving residential and commercial markets nationwide.
