Project Executive - Construction (Electrical, Commercial & Industrial)Located: Los Alamitos, CAPay: $145k-$185k baseWe are seeking a Project Executive with extensive experience in the electrical industry, specifically leading large-scale commercial and industrial projects across public and private sectors. This role is responsible for overseeing project strategy, execution, and profitability while driving business growth and client development.The Project Executive will lead project planning, coordination, and delivery, with strong expertise in contracts, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, client management, and safety. This role also requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all phases of assigned projects to ensure alignment with scope, budget, schedule, quality, and company objectivesDrive business development by pursuing and securing new clients and project opportunitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and industry partnersOversee preconstruction planning and conceptual developmentEnsure accurate financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlMonitor project progress, risks, and compliance; report issues to Division ManagerReview estimates, proposals, and bid strategies in alignment with company goalsOversee contract execution, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationCoordinate closely with field teams to manage labor, scheduling, and equipment prioritiesConduct site visits and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and contractual standardsProvide technical leadership and guidance to clients and internal teamsEnforce company procedures, cost accounting standards, and regulatory complianceEducation & ExperienceElectrical Engineering degree or similar10+ years combined field installation and project management experience in the Electrical industry, including 5+ years leading multi-million-dollar commercial/industrial projects Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills Professional certifications (Preferred)Computer SkillsAccubid, LiveCount and/or Bluebeam Microsoft Excel and Office Suite Benefits:Base salary: $175,000–$200,000401(k) retirement planGenerous PTO and flexible vacation policyComprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus strong retirement offeringsOptional voluntary insurance plansContinued support for professional developmentTuition reimbursement for coursework completed at accredited institutions
