Senior Software Test Engineer

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing. Develop and maintain automation frameworks and automated test scripts. Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to understand requirements and ensure quality deliverables. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure adherence to QA standards, processes, and best practices. Required Skills Strong experience in manual and automation testing. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar. Good understanding of API testing and SQL/database validation. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and defect tracking tools like JIRA. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Typically 5–8+ years of experience in software testing and QA.
