Business Development Advisor - Sales & Healthcare OutreachHome Instead - Mitchell, SDHome Instead is seeking a motivated Business Development Advisor to help grow our in‑home senior care services throughout Mitchell, Huron, Yankton, and surrounding communities. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in sales, marketing, healthcare outreach, or case management who enjoy building relationships and driving business growth.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new inquiries and referrals to increase market shareBuild and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice, and rehabilitation centersMeet with families, social workers, and community partners to discuss care needsConduct Service Inquiries and Care ConsultationsMaintain accurate records of outreach, leads, presentations, and closed sales using CRM softwareDevelop a qualified referral pipeline through face‑to‑face visits, cold calling, email, phone outreach, and community networkingEducation & ExperienceCollege degree or equivalent work experienceSales or business development experience (consultative sales a plus)Healthcare experience preferredSkills & AbilitiesExcellent oral and written communicationStrong interpersonal skills and sound judgmentAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesHighly organized with strong time‑management skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorProficiency in Word and ExcelWhy Join Home Instead?Home Instead is a locally owned and mission‑driven organization dedicated to helping seniors remain safe, happy, and independent at home.
