Senior Full Stack Developer (Java, Angular & Cloud Applications)
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
Duration: May 2026 – August 2026 (Extension Possible)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Hours: Up to 780 hours

Local Candidates Only: Must reside within 50 miles of Austin, TX
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to support the modernization of enterprise applications.
This role focuses on transforming legacy systems into scalable, cloud-native microservices architectures , while building responsive frontends and secure backend services. The ideal candidate brings strong experience across Java, Angular, cloud platforms, and DevSecOps practices .
Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Development
Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java (backend) and Angular/TypeScript (frontend)
Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces and scalable backend services
Develop and consume RESTful APIs
Application Modernization
Refactor legacy/monolithic applications into microservices-based architectures
Contribute to system design decisions for scalability, performance, and maintainability
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Deploy and manage applications in cloud-native or serverless environments
Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
Integrate DevSecOps practices into development workflows
Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases
Implement event-driven architecture patterns where applicable
Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and peer reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts and architects
Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Required Qualifications
8+ years of full software development lifecycle (SDLC) experience
Strong expertise in
Angular and TypeScript frontend frameworks
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database design
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience deploying applications in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Familiarity with event-driven architectures
Experience implementing DevSecOps practices
Experience using modern development tools, including AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub, Claude, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience refactoring monolithic systems into microservices
Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus or Application Insights
Experience with feature flags and progressive delivery
Strong documentation and code quality practices
Experience working in Agile environments
Hybrid role with mandatory onsite days (Monday & Thursday)
Candidates must already be local to the Austin, TX area
Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required
