Make a meaningful impact on patients with complex needs while enjoying a collaborative and professional setting designed to foster your growth.Required Skills:Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with valid medical license and board certification in GastroenterologyProven expertise in performing upper endoscopies (EGD), colonoscopies, and ERCPExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse patient populationsAbility to manage complex, non-compliant, and acutely ill patients with compassion and professionalismStrong organizational skills to handle a high volume of procedures and patient encounters efficientlyNice to Have Skills:Experience with hospital or clinic-based Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) proceduresProficiency with EMR systemsBilingual abilities to enhance patient communicationPrior experience in a provider coverage/locum settingPreferred Education and Experience:Medical degree from an accredited institutionMinimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Gastroenterology, including procedural expertisePrior work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environmentOther Requirements:Completion of credentialing, including Medicare & Medicaid enrollment (~3 months timeline)Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with shared call responsibilitiesWillingness to support flexible scheduling, including alternating weeks or consistent provider arrangementsCertification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferredCompassionate approach to patient care with strong relationship-building skillsMust adhere to all applicable safety protocols and regulationsThis role offers competitive pay at $4,290 per week, equating to an attractive hourly rate.
