1st shift - prep cook
Job: Prep Cook / Baker Location: Hartford, WI Shift: 4:30am - 12:00pm T-F, every other weekend. Weekend hours will fluctuate Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.00 / hour Job Responsibilities: Prepare and assemble a variety of menu items, including salads, entrees, sauces, and dips Wash, cut, and chop fruits, vegetables, and cooked meats for use in recipes and food preparation Assemble prepared food trays such as deviled eggs, cheese and sausage, and fruit and vegetable platters Proof and bake pre-made buns according to established procedures Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in accordance with food safety standards Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards to ensure consistency and quality Qualifications: Previous experience in a kitchen, food prep, deli, catering or food service environment preferred Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices (e.g., safe food handling, cleanliness standards) Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and portion guidelines accurately Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and presentation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively Comfortable using kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, and ovens Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 pounds as needed Dependable, team-oriented, and able to take direction well Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred
