This role focuses on providing specialized occupational therapy services to school-aged children, enhancing their ability to participate fully in educational activities.Responsibilities include:Providing occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs.Delivering services at Mid Cape Global Academy for 1 hour per week, with additional compensatory minutes.Offering occupational therapy support at Warrington Preparatory Academy for 30 minutes per week, supplemented by consultation sessions and compensatory minutes.Collaborating with educators and support staff to develop effective strategies that improve students' functional performance.Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies.Qualifications and experience desired:Valid Occupational Therapy licensure.Experience working within school-based settings preferred.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and educational teams.Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs.Commitment to professional development and adherence to best practices in school-based occupational therapy.Location:Hialeah, FL.This contract position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact on students' educational experiences in a supportive school environment.
