This role involves maintaining system stability, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing platform performance.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Linux/Unix environments, Python scripting, and production support, with the ability to work on high-performance systems and collaborate across engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide production support for batch-oriented and compute-intensive platforms.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform stability and reliability.Support and maintain Linux/Unix-based systems in a production environment.Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency.Collaborate with engineering and business teams to resolve platform-related issues.Analyze system logs, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes.Participate in incident management, on-call support, and problem resolution.Continuously improve platform performance, scalability, and reliability.Required Qualifications3+ years of experience in:Platform EngineeringProduction SupportSystems EngineeringStrong experience supporting batch-oriented, compute-intensive platformsProficiency in Linux/Unix environmentsHands-on experience with Python scriptingStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in fast-paced production environmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience in platform support and operationsPrior experience with:AdaptivMarket risk platformsRisk analytics systemsFamiliarity with financial services or trading environments
