Our team of 700+ passionate pet people thrives on collaboration, innovation, and the occasional office cameo from a four-legged friend.Whisker runs two daily shifts:1st Shift: MondayFriday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM2nd Shift: MondayFriday, 3:00 PM 11:30 PMOvertime and weekend work may be required.As a Robot Assembler, you will assemble parts to build robotic appliances for pets (Litter-Robot & Feeder-Robot). As an assembling professional, you will build robots as per our work instructions, prepare assembly areas, work with your colleagues to improve line performance, and join a winning team leading the future of pet care.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform all duties safely while following company policies, procedures, and safety standardsAssemble robotic pet appliances according to detailed work instructions and production requirementsPrepare workstations/assembly areas by ensuring all tools, equipment, and materials are in good condition and ready for useIdentify and report safety, ergonomic, quality, or documentation issues; support and follow through on corrective actionsFollow work instructions closely and alert Engineering or Management to any errors or inconsistenciesDemonstrate willingness and ability to perform all functions of the assembly process across multiple products and linesPerform final testing and quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards and specificationsPackage finished products for shipment, ensuring accuracy, protection, and damage preventionHandle components and finished goods carefully to maintain product qualityOperate basic hand and power tools safely and in accordance with established protocolsAssist with troubleshooting minor production or equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain workflowFollow lean manufacturing practices and actively participate in continuous improvement initiativesSupport cross-training efforts by learning and performing tasks in multiple areas as neededCommunicate clearly and effectively with Supervisors, Engineering, and Quality teams regarding production issues and improvement opportunitiesMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace; contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environmentParticipate in shift meetings and team huddles to stay aligned on daily goals, priorities, and production targetsAdapt to changing production demands, schedules, and priorities; move between lines and tasks as neededPerform additional duties and responsibilities as assignedRequirementsPrevious manufacturing experience preferredMust be able to read, write, and speak English fluently to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and cross-functional teamsBilingual candidates are strongly encouraged; additional language skills are a plusAbility to follow instructions and safely use hand and power toolsMechanical aptitude and good manual dexterity are preferredMaintain a positive attitude and strong work ethicOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficientlyComfortable working in a fast-paced assembly environmentEager to learn and contribute across different areas of the companyAbility to stand and walk for 8+ hours per dayMaintain confidentiality of proprietary informationDemonstrate professionalism in a dynamic environment with frequent interactions and interruptionsAbility to build and maintain cooperative working relationshipsNot Required but Nice to Have:Working experience in a manufacturing environment is preferredPhysical Demands and Work Environment:The physical demands outlined below represent those that a Team Member must meet to perform the essential functions of this position successfully.
