Foreman (Industrial Construction) - MSHA Required
Location: Arizona / Southwest Travel Required Employment Type: Full-Time Position Overview Durus Industrial is seeking experienced Foremen to lead field crews on heavy industrial, mining, energy, infrastructure, and civil construction projects throughout the Southwest. This position is responsible for direct oversight of craft labor, daily field execution, production tracking, safety enforcement, and coordination of assigned work activities. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader capable of driving production, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project schedules and client expectations. Core ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise assigned field crews and subcontractorsCoordinate daily work activities with Superintendents and Project ManagementExecute work safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specificationsRead and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and field instructionsMaintain daily production tracking, manpower reporting, and timesheetsCoordinate tools, equipment, materials, and deliveries required for assigned work scopesIdentify field conflicts and proactively communicate solutionsEnforce company safety policies and maintain zero-tolerance safety complianceConduct daily pre-task planning and safety meetingsMaintain organized and professional work areasSupport quality control requirements and field inspectionsAssist with field layout, sequencing, and coordination between tradesMaintain positive working relationships with clients, inspectors, vendors, and crews Qualifications5+ years of industrial or heavy civil construction experiencePrior experience leading crews in industrial, mining, utility, or infrastructure environmentsStrong understanding of construction sequencing and field coordinationAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong communication and leadership skillsExperience managing production, manpower, and daily field operationsWorking knowledge of equipment, tools, and industrial construction practicesAbility to adapt to changing field conditions and project demandsOSHA 30 preferredPrior MSHA is requiredValid driver's license required Work Environment & ExpectationsTravel required throughout Arizona, New Mexico, and surrounding regionsRemote project assignments and extended work schedules may be requiredOutdoor work in extreme heat, dust, uneven terrain, and active construction environmentsExtended workweeks and overtime based on project demandsLeadership presence and field accountability expected dailySafety, professionalism, and productivity are core expectations CompensationHighly competitive compensation based on experience and project backgroundOvertime opportunities tied to project demandsPer diem for qualifying projectsCompany benefits package available after eligibility periodLong-term growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding industrial contractor
