TIG Welder Location: Sanford, Maine Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 Job Category: Light Industrial CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking 1st Shift TIG Welder candidates in the Sanford, ME area. Responsibilities: Weld or tack weld metal parts using TIG, spot welding guns, or electric/gas welding equipment Fill cavities, correct malformations, and hammer out bulges or bends in metal workpieces Examine workpieces for defects and measure to ensure conformance to specifications Grind, test, and inspect welded surfaces to identify flaws Climb ladders to assemble structures and move parts using low lift Maintain welding equipment in safe and operable condition Use Lean tools and concepts to reduce waste and continuously improve processes Collaborate with team to deliver high-quality units that meet customer expectations Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or leads Desired Background/Skills: High School Diploma or equivalent Proven TIG welding experience, must pass a flat TIG weld test Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and job specifications Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOM) and various material types and gauges Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram instructions Don't miss out on this excellent opportunity to join a hardworking, supportive team- apply with us today to get started!
