Operator Assistant - 3rd shift

KEY RESPONIBILITIES: 1. Perform various production and service activities related to the set up and operation of the coating line following written procedures and instructions. 2. Perform and document all the necessary testing of raw materials. 3. Communicate production problems to the Extrusion Coating Operator. 4. Communicate quality related decisions for the next operation utilizing defective material identification and flagging systems. 5. Make time and quantity entries into the computer system. 6. Responsible for moving raw materials and finished products as needed. 7. Provide necessary communication at shift change. 8. Perform all necessary preventative maintenance and housekeeping as required. 9. Perform other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Web handling fundamentals. Beginner level computer skills High school math skills Must be able to read standard ruler measurements. The ability to follow written and verbal instructions. English language verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities. The ability to multi-task and work efficiently with team members. Experience Preferred Machine operating fundamentals preferred. Education Required High School or better in High School Diploma or Equivalent Behaviors Required Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well Team Player: Works well as a member of a group Preferred Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity
