Life Enrichment Manager
Hours: Exempt, min. 40 hours/weekLocation | Department: Chelsea Retirement Community | Independent LivingOverviewThe Life Enrichment Manager ensures that residents within Independent Living are engaged in activities of interest. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating meaningful activities appropriate to the needs and interests of residents.What You’ll DoPlan, schedule, and implement a diverse program of classes, events and programs based on resident’s interests and needs.Use the Dimensions of Wellness to provide a wide range of quality programs, both active and passive, to serve our active residents.Work closely with the Life Enrichment Assistant to coordinate programs.Develop meaningful, person-centered relationships with the residents, their families, team members and guests.Perform administrative requirements such as reports, budget preparation and monitoring of expenses, payroll, and program surveys.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) with the ability to learn new applications.Must be willing to work some weekends and evenings to meet the needs of residents and fellow team members.Coordinate programs with other departments as necessary.Serve of various committees and appointed.What It TakesMust possess, as a minimum, an Associate Degree.
