Program Manager

Assists the Program Director in providing oversight of Mental Health Skill Building. Provide oversight of the productivity of staff to include the management of assigned cases and follow through of expected hours for each staff member. Orient and support new staff training within the agency and community. Coverage of staff cases in case of emergencies or staff shortage. Provide direct supervision of identified staff on a weekly and/or monthly basis to monitor their cases. Provide oversight of the accountability of paperwork and follow up on any outstanding paperwork. Attend staff meetings, clinical training, and supervision. Complete clinical assessments and all components as needed. Perform all other duties as assigned. Master’s degree in Health and Human Services to include social work, gerontology, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, special education, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, criminal justice and human services counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university; at least two years of experience providing mental health services and case management to individuals suffering from a mental illness is preferred. This position also requires a valid driver’s license, automobile and telecommunications availability, excellent verbal and written skills; counseling and social work theories and techniques; and community resources. Strong writing and case conceptualization skills and reference to a methodological. The successful completion of a criminal history or background investigation is required.
