Plant Operator

Job description The Vealey Group in New Bern is looking for skilled Plant Operators. The Plant Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in a plant environment, ensuring efficient operations. These positions require shift work and rotating shift (12 hours). ****THESE POSITIONS ARE LOCATED IN AURORA, NC***** What you will do: Mixing and blending dry/liquid fertilizer & calculate blend sheets Handle all aspects of receiving, shipping, and storing of dry/liquid fertilizer Compliance with all Safety, Environmental and Operating Standards Competent operation of all dry/liquid plant systems Measure bulk tanks, loading and offloading bulk tanks Maintain and accounts for inventory Engage in Preventative Maintenance Program on equipment Other duties as assigned by department What you will bring: Forklift and Loader operating experience Self-starter with a strong work ethic and proven track record of delivering on commitments Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, problem solving and organizational skills Strong customer service skills Basic computer skills required Good attendance required Valid Driver’s License The estimated salary that Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedIn suggested does not represent the true compensation structure offered.
