The hospital maintains high standards of care with dedicated treatment teams and modern psychiatric facilities.Opportunity:Physician (MD) - PsychiatryJob Details:Provide psychiatric care for acute adult inpatient unit with 12-14 patient encounters per shiftWork Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM schedule with 30-minute lunch breakManage 24-bed department with average daily census starting at 12 patientsHandle average length of stay of 10 days with comprehensive treatment planningParticipate in daily treatment meetings with multidisciplinary team membersTreat psychiatric diagnoses (not dual diagnosis cases)Required clinical expertise in anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, developmental disorders, and psychotic disordersExperience with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application requiredUtilize pharmacotherapy and group therapy treatment techniquesBoard certification required with BLS certificationMust hold active Massachusetts medical licenseCredentialing timeframe approximately 21 daysCorporate lodging discounts availableCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.by Jobble
