This will include the following:Create Virtualization using VMWare, VMWare product suite (ESX, Horizon, Vcenter, Cloud Volume, vGPU’s, etc.)Perform VMware virtualization that includes ESX, Server migrations, DRS, HA, vMotion, Horizon, vCenter and vROPs.Perform VDI rollout within defined standards and practicesSoftware installation on VM’s and its ManagementVmware Migration and upgradesWork and track the activity to closure for all incidents that are received via ServiceNow tool. Address, complete and track the activities to closure for the items assigned in Rally following the rules set by the governance team leader. This will include the below VDI Administration activitiesPatches and bug fixesInstall Service Packs and Security configurationsResolve job failures and data defectsGroup Policy – Enforce Policy in the User MachinesStorage Management – Manage Data StorageMonitoring and alerting for job failuresInstall client applications on VDI (Project specific Software tools, Java, Anaconda, kubectl, containerd, visual studio, .NET tools etc.,)Create or map storage exports for NFS and ISILOSupport server repairs/replacements with vendors/suppliersWork involves Export Control jobsGeneric Managerial SkillsNot listedEducation:Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent skills
