The ideal candidate has a proven track record as a skilled Mason and a love of the craft.Responsibilities Mix cement and mortarTexture and polish blocks of stoneInstall dressed stoneRestore damaged stoneworkAssist in building layout, framing, sheathing, and roofing structuresUse hand tools and power tools to perform basic construction tasksRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawingsTrain apprentices in masonry skillsQualificationsPrevious experience as a Mason or in a similar positionCertification or training in masonry is preferredAbility to collaborate with other construction professionalsStrong attention to detailExcellent hand-eye coordinationAbility to adhere to all safety rules and regulationsKnowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferred
