Job Title: Certified Surgical TechnicianLocation: Gainesville, FLWe are seeking a Surgical Technician to assist the multi-disciplinary health care team in clinical support functions and promote a safe, compassionate patient care environment. The Surgical Technician will work in collaboration under the direction of the RN and Surgeon during surgical procedures.What will you do in this role?Perform scrub duties for various surgical proceduresDemonstrates knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments and supplies needed for surgical casesCommunicates and participates in patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RNWhat qualifications will you need?~ Would Strongly Prefer candidates that have 2 years of experience. Preference is acute care experience (1 year) would consider someone that does not have acute care experience.MUST have CST certification in hand.Previous scrubbing experience is preferredBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateVocational School Graduate
