Early Intervention Evaluation Coordinator
Job SummaryThe Evaluation Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and overseeing the evaluation process for children referred to the Early Intervention Program. This role is responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary evaluations, scheduling evaluators, supporting timely documentation, and ensuring all activities are compliant with New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) regulations. The Evaluation Coordinator serves as a liaison between families, evaluators, and service coordinators to ensure a smooth and family-centered experience.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and schedule multidisciplinary evaluations (MDEs) in accordance with NYSDOH timelinesAssign appropriate evaluators based on language, discipline, and locationMaintain accurate records of referrals, evaluation status, and evaluator availabilityEnsure proper documentation is submitted by evaluators and service coordinatorsMonitor compliance with evaluation regulations, including use of appropriate tools and timelinesCollaborate with clinical and QA teams to review reports for completeness and qualityCommunicate with families, evaluators, and staff to troubleshoot scheduling issuesSupport timely submission of evaluation documentation to municipalitiesGenerate reports to track evaluation trends and operational performanceAssist with evaluation workflow improvements and policy developmentRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree (required) in human services, psychology, public health, early childhood, or a related field2+ years of experience (required) in early intervention, special education, or healthcare coordinationStrong working knowledge of the New York State Early Intervention ProgramFamiliarity with EI systems such as EIHub and IRMA (preferred)Excellent organizational and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and digital scheduling/recordkeeping systemsAbility to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentBilingual abilities a plus (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Russian preferred)Benefits:401(k) with employer contributionsPaid time off including vacation days and holiday payComprehensive onboarding and trainingTuition reimbursementProfessional development workshopsSupport for continuing education and certification programsAbout UsWe are a multi-specialty child care services company dedicated to supporting the developmental needs of young children and their families.
