MCM manages all phases of projects from programming to implementation and from pre-construction to post construction.Job OverviewMCM is seeking a Document Control Specialist who is proficient in e-Builder.DutiesEstablish and implement a new document control system for tracking and maintaining current and new project documentation relating to costs, schedules, change orders, contract documents, addendums, bids, etc for all capital expense projects.Provide training to new users, manage licenses of new users, monitor and update project initiations, and provide system technical support.Responsibilities will include the following: Disseminate project documents from e-Builder to the leadership team.Establish a new document control system for tracking and reporting the status of all projects.Generate and dissimulate monthly project status reports of all projects to include budgets, schedules, change orders, finances accruals, contracts, etc.Maintain and update all project documentation in e-Builder.Manage, validate and verify system access of e-Builder for approved internal and external stakeholders.Train internal stakeholders of proper processes, navigations and workflows in e-Builder.Generate project management training focused on appropriate procedures and workflows in coordination with our client's applications and systems.Support e-Builder Specific Responsibilities including but not limited to: Project Setup; User Provisioning; Onboarding and Training of new users; User Technical Support; Managing Reports and Folder subscriptions.Resolve technical issues in a timely manner.Develop business requirements and support development of system enhancements in support of a self-serve model.Educate staff regarding any new functionality and product enhancements in e-Builder.SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Effective interpersonal skills (e.g., persuasion, listening, cooperation, tact, diplomacy, problem solving, internal consulting).Strong skills in project controls to include planning, organizing, monitoring and reporting on project activities.Strong quantitative skills to include analytical, technical, problem solving.Strong capital project management knowledge; ideally with related training in PMI or other process excellence methodologies.Working knowledge of e-Builder.Experience in program administration or coordination duties, document controls using e-Builder or similar tool supporting a large department or group in project controls, financial reporting, project management or related field.Working knowledge of construction industry including methodology, terminology, workflow/paper flow of planning, design, and construction activities, as well as demonstrated knowledge of contract documents and specifications.Proficient in SharePoint and Project Management Information Systems.Strong knowledge of computer software such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook.RequirementsBachelors' degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or similar technology or project management field is preferred Equivalent work experience may be considered.5+ years’ relevant experience.Experience in capital project management/administration in Construction preferred.Utility experience preferred.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, In PersonBenefits:401(k)Health insurancePaid time off
