Service Technician - Temporary PositionImportant Notice* This is a temporary position. Employment in this role is contingent upon a specific staffing need and may be ended when that underlying need is resolved. This position is not guaranteed to be become permanent.Role Summary: As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the physical integrity of our residential property. Your primary responsibility will be to perform repairs and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure our residents' safety, comfort, and satisfaction. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and dedication to quality workmanship will contribute to the overall success of our properties. Benefit eligibility for temporary positions is determined based on classification and hours worked in accordance with applicable law and company policy.Competitive salary Paid Time Off including Your Birthday!Company Paid HolidaysQuarterly Bonus based on performanceCompetitive Rent Discount ProgramExcellent benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision BenefitsFlexible Spending AccountHealth Savings AccountEmployee Assistance Program401K Retirement plan plus Employer MatchMonthly Cell Phone AllowanceOpportunities for growth and advancement Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Ideal Candidate:You will be aware of the condition of the property at all times and take immediate steps to correct any unsafe condition.Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as directed by the Community Manager or Service Manager.Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair, as directed.Completes all service requests within 24 hours, unless the request requires extraordinary parts or labor.Must have the ability to interact effectively with prospects, residents, peers and management.Maintaining the leasing office and all recreational and common area facilities.What you’ll need to Succeed:A clear understanding of business concepts, processes and the principles of strategic thinkingComprehensive knowledge and understanding of multifamily operations including people management, financial reporting, problem-solving, sales, maintenance and resident relations.Must be able to access all apartment homes and parts of the community to show the home to potential residents; inspect all areas of community, etc.Ability to visually inspect apartment homes, grounds, and other aspects of the community to determine that standards are metKnowledge in maintenance to include carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling systems, painting, drywall, buffing and waxing, use of power tools (pools and irrigation systems where necessary)Ability to speak, listen, read and write English with sufficient proficiency to maintain a safe environment, which is a business necessity, as further detailed above.Must provide own tools where applicable1-3 years of experience in Property ManagementHigh School Diploma or GED requiredHVAC certification preferredEPA Type I & II certification preferredE-Verify: Our company participates in E-Verify and will verify authorization to work in the U.S. Dayrise Residential is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
