The ideal candidate has a strong background in electronics repair and enjoys hands-on troubleshooting of video inspection equipment. This role requires expertise in soldering, diagnostics, and working with video systems to ensure our products perform at the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair video inspection equipment, including cameras, monitors, and related electronic componentsPerform soldering and desoldering on circuit boards and electronic assembliesTest and calibrate repaired equipment to ensure optimal functionality and performanceTroubleshoot technical issues related to video systems, signal processing, and display qualityMaintain accurate repair documentation, including parts used, time spent, and solutions appliedPartner with engineering and production teams to identify recurring issues and recommend improvementsStay current on industry trends and advancements in video inspection technologyEnsure all repairs meet quality standards and comply with safety regulationsRequired Skills & QualificationsProficiency in soldering and desoldering techniquesStrong understanding of electronics, including components, circuitry, and troubleshooting methodsExperience working with video systems (cameras, monitors, signal processing)Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and diagramsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple repairs at onceClear communication skills for collaboration and documentationPreferred QualificationsAssociate degree or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field2+ years of electronics repair experience (video inspection or similar industry preferred)Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generatorsWork EnvironmentThis is an on-site position in a repair lab/workshop setting.
