Technician (Austin)

Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Supervisor• Area focal point for providing strategic direction for technicians to achieve performance needed in support of the factory goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People development.• Area sustaining – shift coverage for maintenance issues providing manufacturing tool capacity as needed, coordinate interface with engineering support as needed.• Responsible for coaching team through maintenance transformation, to increase scheduled maintenance success, and elimination of root cause problems impacting tool availability.• Manufacturing metrics ownership (avail, utilization, holds, cycle time, cost, scrap, etc.)• Area priority ownership and communication• Area escalations (parts, Hard Down Action Plan execution, mercury lots, engineering support)• Training matrix ownership (cross-training)• Able to analyze systematic problems, identify solutions and deploy across the area.• Able to work in a high volume manufacturing environment, where multi-tasking is regularly required.• Ability to anticipate problems• The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied.• The ability to problem solve within a diverse cross-functional team, to achieve specific objectives, related to area performance.Job Qualifications:• BS or equivalent in related field is preferred (MILITARY EXPERIENCE as an example)• 5+ years of experience leading technical team with experience overseeing a maintenance program• Strong track record of tactical decision-making, and ability to disseminate and execute plans across an organization.• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a proven ability to lead and mentor a team.Work Schedule: This role is on a compressed schedule on 12-hour shifts. You will work Thursday, Friday, Saturday and every other Wednesday from ~5am to 5pm.Salary/Benefits: First year compensation Dependent on Experience.
