It's an exciting time to join our business because Crown offers you the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in an expanding industry.Crown was founded with the goal of valuing and promoting sustainability and this vision continues to be essential to our long-term future.Job DescriptionRESPONSIBILITESFollow all plant safety rules, LOTO, and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.Perform all necessary pre-production safety checks.Good housekeeping is required at all times. The work area must be clean, orderly, and free of hazards, including ends, broken wood, and torn bags.Follow all SOPs applicable to perform this work, as well as general plant SOPs.Ensure that all quality SOP requirements are followed and that visual inspection is occurring and documented at all times.Feed four (4) roto feeds with tops and bottoms on the pallet feeder.Report to the shift supervisor for further requirements when lines are down or underperforming.Participate in team meetings as required.Sort as per instructions.When requested/required, assist in covering for the Palletizer Operator.Bag tops and bottoms while keeping count.Apply product identification labels as required.Process production paperwork.Perform all necessary quality checks to ensure fittings meet documented quality requirements.Perform and document completed daily housekeeping.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team members.Strong attention to detail and ability to establish and maintain high organization and quality.Perform other duties as assigned.The above information reflects the general job duties and should not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements.RequirementsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with other team membersStrong attention to detail and ability to establish and maintain a high level of organization and qualityAbility to lift to fifty (50) pounds occasionally and regularly stand, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance.
