Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical TechnologistMLR is partnering with a local hospital just outside of Clifton, SC, to recruit a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) for a full-time weekday position. This role is essential in performing diagnostic testing under the supervision of the Clinical Director, ensuring high-quality results and excellent patient care in a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:Shift: Full-time, weekdays.Perform venipuncture for all patient age groups, ensuring high specimen quality.Conduct accurate testing in assigned departments, troubleshooting as necessary.Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) for quality control, document corrective actions, and make informed decisions regarding patient results.Participate in competency testing, professional development, and in-service education.Maintain required certifications and actively engage in meetings and educational activities.Effectively utilize the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and other computer applications.Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Technologist Requirements:Registered MLT/MT with valid credentials (ASCP, NCAMLP, AMT, ASMT, or equivalent), or eligibility within six months.Proficiency in operating laboratory instruments and interpreting results.Benefits:Health, dental, and vision insurance.Paid time off (PTO).401(k) retirement plan.
