The team, led by experienced leadership and expert culinary professionals, consistently brings fine dining quality to every event and venue, from the Design Center Atrium to exclusive partnerships like Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens.OverviewThe Chef de Partie is responsible for supporting the Kitchen Management Team by executing and delivering consistently high-quality food and customer service both internally and externally.   This is an ideal position for someone who is dedicated to the art of hospitality and wants to take their skills to the next level.  If you are a team player, experienced, passionate and dedicated to your craft, we want to hear from you!What You Will Be Doing: Assist the Executive, Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs in managing the food preparation process/kitchen management as assigned.Following, prioritizing, and executing duties on a daily preparation list in a timely and organized manner.Verifying all food is properly prepared and handled and delivered on time.Maintain sanitation, safety and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils within the work area.Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides with heavy emphasis on attention to detail.Understanding weekly workflow, relative to business levels and anticipating work volumeAbility to quantify and assist with ordering product as neededDirects other staff as needed in the preparation of culinary itemsOther duties as assigned.What’s In It For YouBest Impressions Caterers is a well-established catering firm with almost 40 years in the catering and events industry.You will gain valuable experience working under a talented, respected and passionate culinary team.The ability to work for an organization that is passionate about providing fresh innovative cuisine, jaw dropping presentations, and impeccable service. You will work at the south east’s premier upscale events caterer.  PTO and paid holidaysMedical, Dental and Vision insuranceWhat You Need to Bring:  The successful candidate is eager to work with a positive attitude, people-oriented approach and great organizational skills. He/she will have:A minimum of 2 years of experience in the culinary industry is strongly preferredAbility to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends as needed to execute events (off site events weekly)The ability to follow directions and execute job tasks to Chef’s satisfactionSelf-motivated to work under pressure with high volume objectivesMaintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations in an organized work area Able to work efficiently with strong attention to detailsUnderstanding of food preparation as it applies to catering is preferred
