Certified Nursing Assistant - The Villa

The Villa at Texarkana - We are currently recruiting for Certified Nursing Assistants- CNAs to join our growing team!Job Responsibilities & Duties:Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between mealsHelp patients with personal hygiene.Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos and showersProvide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings and therapeutic bathsCheck vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chartAssist the nurses and other staff as neededAdhere to professional standards, follow the policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements, as well as Joint Commission standardsCertified Nursing Assistant Skills and Qualifications:Multi-tasking, Medical Teamwork, Bedside Manner, Infection Control, Nursing Skills, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, informing Others, Judgment, Pain Management, Acute/Critical Care
