IPEC specializes in engineering, design and manufacturing of modular process systems for the pharmaceutical, biotech, beverage and food industries. IPEC is recognized as a company that provides turnkey solutions to customers because of its ability to provide services, materials and systems, beginning with the conceptual phase of a project through start-up and commissioning. IPEC currently has an opening for an Electrical Engineer. Able to leave at 2:30p.m. on Fridays · Company raffles throughout the year · Winter Party Celebrations every year Duties and Responsibilities: · Generation of control panel layouts and electrical schematics · Review of drawings created by the design department · Generation and specification of equipment for procurement · Works closely with project managers, designers and customers · Spends the majority of time in-house, but is expected to travel as needed for Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) · Strong organizational and management skills · Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Education and/or Experience: · BS in Electrical engineering or 2-year Technical College degree with 3-5 years of design experience preferred Other Skills and Abilities: · Technical communication (oral and written) · Ability to work in a team environment · Ability to navigate basic technology, phones, computers and other systems where applicable.
