Eliot’s Respite program is a short term restorative service that assists clients with obtaining and maintaining community living. As a Respite Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing individualized supports that assist with stabilization and successful community transition. Our ideal candidate will have the skills to establish supportive relationships, excellent communication, crisis management and problem solving skills. Responsibilities:Assist clients with skill development for activities of daily livingCollaborate with clients and staff to develop and achieve short term goalsProvide interventions focused on problem-solving, crisis management, skills training, behavior modeling, optimism, and encouragementAssist clients with developing coping skills to include medication administrationSupport clients in accessing and utilizing community resources and services to include the participation in community activitiesAdminister and monitor consumer medications in accordance with agency, DMH and DPH regulations, polices and proceduresMaintain CPR, First Aid, MAP and other training certifications as required by the agency and DMHQualifications:Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related fieldExperience working with adults with mental illnessValid Massachusetts drivers license Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday, 11pm-9am Hourly Rate: $20.50 USD - $20.50 USD At Eliot, we are committed to supporting you at every stage of your career, providing opportunities for growth, purpose, and community.
