ServiceNow Developer with Security Clearance

Role Overview: This position supports the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise service management solutions within a large, structured delivery environment. The developer will work closely with functional leads and technical contributors to build and extend workflow-driven functionality, custom user portals, and request-based services. The role requires the ability to quickly understand existing implementations, contribute independently, and deliver high-quality functionality across multiple parallel workstreams.The environment emphasizes collaboration, agility, and accountability, with an expectation that the developer can balance hands-on development with effective communication and ownership of deliverables. Key Responsibilities:Develop and enhance functionality within an enterprise service management platformDesign and implement custom user portals that support complex queries and workflowsBuild and maintain service catalog items and request forms supporting business processesIntegrate platform functionality with external systems and servicesApply front-end technologies to deliver responsive, user-friendly interfacesImplement and enforce security controls, including role-based access and permissionsReview and extend existing codebases, rapidly understanding current functionality and supporting system evolutionWork in an Agile delivery environment alongside analysts and consultants to release functionality efficientlyManage multiple development efforts concurrently while maintaining attention to quality and detail Required Experience:5+ years of hands-on development experience on an enterprise service management platform2+ years of experience building and customizing service portals2+ years of experience developing and maintaining service catalog itemsExperience creating request forms and supporting workflow-driven solutionsExperience building integrations with external systemsFront-end development experience using frameworks and technologies such as AngularJS, HTML, and CSSExperience implementing security features, including access controlsAbility to work independently, problem-solve effectively, and collaborate within a team environment
