Railroad Commission of Texas requires the services of 1 Business Analyst 3Day To Day Task IncludePerform advanced business analysis for complex technology hardware and software projects within the Mainframe Transformation Program.Gather, develop, and document project requirements using multiple methods.Review, assess, and develop business processes.Create and validate user acceptance testing (UAT).Conduct research and provide special project support to users.Analyze and document the implementation of inter-related projects, including SaaS or COTS applications.Oversee the migration of data from mainframe systems to new platforms.Assist in building and implementing a Data Warehouse.Ensure deliverables adhere to established processes and procedures, maintaining consistent quality.Apply accepted business analysis methodologies.Work with limited supervision, exercising initiative and independent judgment.May assign or supervise tasks of others as needed.Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.8yrs - Required - Strong interpersonal, collaborative, analytical, written/verbal/ presentation communication skills in English8yrs - Required - Experience and expertise in assessing technological issues to determine root cause(s) and document items needed for data or system correction8yrs - Required - Developing/maintaining an understanding of key business needs and assisting business with identifying and solving problems8yrs - Required - Facilitating creation and analysis of business requirements and working with business area personnel to design technical solutions8yrs - Required - Participating in and providing guidance to business and in developing and completing user acceptance testing, training, and implementation-related activities8yrs - Required - Experience in Oil and Gas industry4yrs - Required - Experience With IBM Mainframe Environments4yrs - Required - Experience with SalesforceWork hours and locations:Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Railroad Commission of Texas.
