Program Manager will be $85,000–$110,000 direct hire with benefitsJob LocationCT – Seymour, CTOnsite preferred; remote may be considered for the right candidateDescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Program Manager to manage key customer accounts and programs within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.This is a highly customer-facing position responsible for the financial, operational, and commercial performance of assigned programs. The Program Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for customers while working closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and senior leadership.The ideal candidate will have extensive contract manufacturing or Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) experience, strong customer relationships, and experience negotiating customer agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs).We are looking for a senior-level Program Manager who can help manage and grow existing business while also bringing strong industry relationships and customer contacts.Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary customer contact for assigned accounts and programsManage the financial, operational, and commercial performance of customer programsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and business growthRepresent customer requirements internally across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, and senior managementLead negotiations and administration of customer contracts, including MSAsIdentify opportunities for organic revenue and account growthMonitor program performance including quality, on-time delivery, inventory, ECO management, cost, and scheduleEstablish program milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedulesIdentify program risks and drive issues through resolutionDevelop reporting and control systems to measure program progress and identify potential problemsCoordinate activities across Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and administrative functionsMaintain a minimum 12-month rolling customer forecastManage material requirements, long-lead purchases, and customer inventory exposurePrepare and lead Quarterly Business Reviews with customersReview program costs, material disposition, cost variances, and additional customer requirementsCoordinate new quotations with Sourcing and EngineeringManage customer production schedules and delivery commitmentsAddress Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), temporary deviations, timing changes, and associated costsReconcile customer and program liabilities including tooling, NRE, and PPVParticipate in production, shortage, and other critical operational meetingsIdentify opportunities to improve cost, quality, lead time, and overall customer performanceSupport and mentor other Program Managers when requiredQualifications8+ years of combined experience in Program Management, Business Management, Engineering, Operations, and/or ProcurementStrong experience within contract manufacturing or Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS)Senior-level customer/account management experienceExperience negotiating contracts and Master Service Agreements (MSAs)Demonstrated ability to manage the financial and operational performance of major customer programsStrong existing industry relationships and customer contacts highly desirableExperience identifying and developing opportunities to grow customer accountsStrong understanding of ERP/MRP systemsAbility to interpret multi-level Bills of Material and technical drawingsExperience with configuration management systemsUnderstanding of GAAP and program financial performanceStrong negotiation, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to manage multiple complex programs and prioritiesMedical device or other regulated manufacturing industry experience preferredStrong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related discipline8+ years of relevant industry experienceContract manufacturing/EMS experience strongly preferredMedical device or regulated manufacturing experience is a plusCPIM or PMP certification is a plus but not requiredComputer SkillsERP/MRP systems
