Candidates must hold Active Secret Clearance!!!Ariel Partners is seeking a Software Developer who will support the DMSS program by providing hands-on development support to our Agile software development teams.Candidate will join a team of engineers, scientists, and domain experts taking this long-standing, successful project to the next level by implementing new features, improving automation, and incorporating DevOps and Agile practices. Candidate will be working closely with the product owner, business analysts, build master, automated test engineers, system administrators, and other team members.The Primary Responsibilities:Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software using MS Visual Studio for C#.NETTroubleshoot problems related to software applications; resolve systems integration and compatibility issuesSupport software testing as required, including developing automated test scripts using NUnit, SpecFlow, and other automation toolsInteract with required stakeholders including CODIS PMO, business analysts, and testersSupport continuous innovation by implementing the best practices to improve technology tools and processes to increase team efficiency and technical executionContribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicableRequired Skills:Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software using MS Visual Studio for C#.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL DatabaseTroubleshoot problems related to software applications; resolve systems integration and compatibility issuesSupport software testing as required, including developing automated test scripts using Unit testing and NUnit and other automation toolsInteract with required stakeholders including CODIS PMO, business analysts, and testersSupport continuous innovation by implementing the best practices to improve technology tools and processes to increase team efficiency and technical executionContribute to deliverables and performance metrics where applicableHighly Desired Skills:Working knowledge of WinForms, WPF, WCF, VB.NET, C++, XML, MSBuild PowerShell, InstallShieldUnderstanding of engineering modeling languages, such as ER diagrams, UML Sequence diagrams or other engineering artifactsAgile/Scrum development experienceExperience writing and reviewing automated test scriptsExperience with Continuous Integration tools (such as TeamCity (preferred), Jenkins or HudsonFamiliarity with automated testing frameworks such as nUnit, SpecFlowFamiliarity with Requirements Management tools such as TFSIf you are interested in getting more information about this opportunity, please contact Irina Rozenberg Recruiting@arielpartners.com at your earliest convenience.At Ariel Partners, we solve the most difficult problems that inhibit technology from enabling our customers to achieve their goals.
