Product Owner Intern

MASS Tech is looking for a Product Owner Intern to support the build, research, and customer discovery of our AI-powered manufacturing copilot platform.This role is ideal for a student interested in product ownership, AI, manufacturing, business analysis, and customer research. The intern will help connect customer needs with product development by gathering Voice of Customer insights, documenting use cases, and supporting product feature definition.At MASS Tech LLC, we work at the intersection of battery manufacturing, Industry 4.0/5.0, AI-enabled operations, and digital transformation. Our focus is on helping advanced manufacturing organizations in gigafactories and electrification leaders improve quality, throughput, traceability, and operational intelligence through practical, hands-on technology solutions.RequirementsEssential Duties Support the product team in defining and building Equiptalk.ai features Gather and summarize Voice of Customer feedback from manufacturers, operators, engineers, and business leaders Research customer pain points in manufacturing, maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and shop-floor operations Convert customer needs into simple product requirements, user stories, and feature ideas Assist in creating product roadmaps, demo flows, and use-case documentation Support market and competitor research in industrial AI, manufacturing copilot tools, MES, SCADA, and IoT solutions Work with business, engineering, and customer teams to improve product-market fit Help prepare product presentations, demo scripts, and internal documentation Internship Details The program will be a full time paid summer internship Must be able to attend the entirety of the internship Program Requirements Must attend entirety of internship from the indicated start and end date noted above Minimum 3.2 GPA Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B, O-1, TN, L-1, or other employment-based visas) following graduation. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees, wearing PPE is a possibility and may include equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, bump cap, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.
