Public Policy Analyst | Public Comment Review SupportProSidian Consulting is looking for a Public Policy Analyst to provide services and support as an energy technical consulting professional within the Energy, Science, and Technology Research Industry Sector. The role focuses on Business Process Solutions for clients such as the Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP) and is generally located in Washington DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region.Primary responsibilities include evaluating stakeholder input to assess alignment with policy objectives and strategic goals, reviewing and analyzing public comments to identify policy implications, and supporting DOE initiatives through data analysis, modeling, evaluation, mapping, forecasting, report development, data tracking tools, workforce policy analysis and convening, as well as energy market economic and regulatory analysis.Key duties are: developing analyses, supporting initiatives, and ensuring alignment with project objectives; reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing stakeholder feedback to support policy development and decision-making.QualificationsDesired qualifications for the Public Policy Analyst include expertise in energy, policy, and technical consulting.Education and experience requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.Skills required: analytical thinking, proficiency in data analysis tools, strong communication abilities, subject matter expertise in energy and policy domains.Standard skills: proficiency in project management methodologies and tools; exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills for effective team management; outstanding time-management and prioritization abilities to meet project milestones; adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities; ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail; excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills; strong communication skills, both oral and written.EEO statement: We attract the best people in the industry, supporting their efforts to learn and grow.
