Data Scientist Specialist

Location:McLean, VA (Full-time onsite, Monday-Friday)Salary Range:To be determined based on experience and qualifications.IntroductionWe are seeking a highly experienced specialist to lead the design and development of advanced Generative AI solutions. This role focuses on building AI agents, agentic workflows, and scalable GenAI applications to solve complex enterprise problems. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade AI systems using modern cloud and AI technologies.Required Skills & Qualifications10 years of experience in AI/ML with at least 3 years in Generative AI or LLM-based solutions.Strong expertise in prompt engineering, RAG, Graph RAG, vector databases, and LLM architectures.Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including SageMaker, Bedrock, and Kubernetes (EKS).Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as Transformers and LangChain.Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience in building AI agents, MCP, and A2A frameworks.Knowledge of multimodal AI systems and data pipelines using Spark or PySpark.Experience with MLFlow or Kubeflow for MLOps.Prior contributions such as research publications or patents in AI/ML.Familiarity with enterprise AI governance, ethical AI practices, and CI/CD pipelines for ML systems.Day-to-Day Responsibilities Design and implement scalable AI agents and GenAI applications for enterprise use cases.Develop and optimize LLMs using prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation frameworks.Build and deploy RAG and Graph RAG systems using vector databases and knowledge bases.Implement MCP and A2A communication frameworks for agent-based systems.Develop data ingestion pipelines for structured and unstructured data including PDFs, audio, and video.Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to build full-stack AI solutions.Establish guardrails, validation frameworks, and bias mitigation strategies for production deployments.Deploy and manage AI solutions on AWS using services like Bedrock, SageMaker, and EKS.Company Benefits & Culture Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A dynamic and inclusive work environment that fosters innovation.For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
