This role requires a proven leader with experience overseeing globally distributed, cross-functional teams, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, including direct interaction with clients and stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving both strategic and operational initiatives to improve collection rates, reduce loss exposure, enhancing processes, and supporting business objectives within a fast-paced environment.What you will do…Team Leadership & Strategic CollaborationLead, mentor, and scale a finance operations team of 7+ professionals across U.S. and offshore locationsDrive initiatives to minimize disbursement lossesOversee development of analytical models and strategies to identify high-risk customer segments and improve financial performancePartner closely with leaders across Client Support, Risk & Fraud, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Finance to support strategic initiativesProcess Improvement & Operational ExcellenceDesign and improve scalable operational processes and internal controls to maximize account receivable collection rateDrive automation and operational efficiency initiatives across finance operations workflowsCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance financial systems, reporting tools, and operational infrastructureMonitor operational performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvementAnalytics & Business InsightsLead analysis of operational and financial data to identify trends, risk drivers, and performance opportunitiesTranslate analytical insights into actionable business strategies and operational improvementsOversee reporting related to collections performance, losses, and operational KPIsCommunication & Stakeholder ManagementCommunicate effectively with executives, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholdersSupport client engagement efforts related to operational escalations, collections, and recovery initiativesWhat you need…5+ years of experience in finance operations, fintech, collections, or risk analyticsAn advanced degree (MBA, Engineering, Data Science) is preferredExperience managing and developing professional teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Finance teamsAbility to manage complex operational processes in a fast-paced environmentPower user in Excel and big data tools (e.g., Python Pandas, SQL, etc.)Excellent communication and leadership skillsWhat we offer…Company sponsored Health, Dental, and Vision insurance401K, traditional, and Roth with a company matchTuition Assistance or Tuition ReimbursementUnlimited Paid Time offMonthly Gym ReimbursementPaid time off to volunteerPaid Family LeaveComplimentary lunches onsiteOpportunity to growOpportunity to work with a great team committed to making a difference.Salary range $110k to $145k + Bonus
