Nurse Practitioner | Psychiatry - General/Other Location: Arizona Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Our client in Arizona is seeking a skilled Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for an engaging 60-day locum tenens assignment, commencing Jun 1, 2026. This role offers a flexible schedule centered around essential psychiatric care, including rounding on patients in a residential setting, leading treatment team meetings, and managing comprehensive documentation. You will be responsible for psychiatric evaluations, follow-up treatments, medication management, and therapy. Responsibilities and Duties Perform psychiatric rounding on patients in a residential level of care. Participate in treatment team meetings. Manage comprehensive documentation. Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide follow-up treatment. Handle medication management. Provide therapy sessions, typically one hour (50 minute plus documentation) per week per patient. Round on patient caseload once per week, with additional rounding as warranted.
