Planning And Scheduling ManagerMortenson is currently seeking an experienced Planning And Scheduling Manager in our Power Delivery Group with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Planning And Scheduling Manager will perform non-routine planning and scheduling assignments that require the selection and application of complex scheduling principles and techniques on highly complex projects. Management, leadership and coordination of team members and processes to implement scheduling strategy on our projects.Responsibilities include:Lead and coordinate site teams and trade partners in the development of project schedules using common CPM scheduling programs on large, complex, or multiple projectsSupport group leadership through the monitoring and updating of project schedules on multiple projects or larger projectsGenerate mitigation options and assist site management to formulate mitigation plans to correct scheduling problems on a projectCoach, mentor, and train other team members in scheduling methodsCollaborate with Business Development on proposals, including leading successful project pursuit strategy regarding project scheduleSupport roll-out of all company-wide training plansParticipate in corporate planning and scheduling improvement initiatives and best practice sharingEffectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levelsQualifications include:Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or equivalent fieldMinimum of eight (8) years construction experience; or equivalent combination of training and experienceAdvanced knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company softwareThorough knowledge of standard construction practices, project sequencing and installation methodsShown ability to exercise creativity and mature judgment in independently anticipating, identifying, and solving unprecedented problems on complex projectsStrong plan and specification reading, review and interpretation skills with ability to identify concerns in document reviewKnowledge of project management, buyout, and contractsWorking knowledge of 4D visual planning methodologiesStrong organization and delegation skills as well as the ability to manage the work of othersAbility to deliver exceptional customer experience resulting in superior service rankings from both our external and internal customersBasic understanding of project estimates to assist with schedule development, cost loading and resource loading of schedulesAbility to interpret and implement customer scheduling specifications and contract requirementsAbility to quickly understand complex projects at the proposal stage, often without project plans, developing strong project schedule strategies based on anticipated project challengesAbility to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutionsResults-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete and timely fashionExcellent oral and written communication skillsActive listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedbackKnowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity, inclusive behaviors, and Affirmative Action plans and their intended useExcellent leadership and rapport building skills with direct reports, other team members, and customersAbility to travel may be required based on operating groupA few benefits offered include:Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverageDental plan401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson matchPaid time off, holidays, and other paid leavesEmployer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insuranceNo-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resourcesTuition reimbursementAdoption AssistanceGym Membership Discount ProgramThe base pay range for this role is $116,900 - $175,400. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR 10%, Washington, D.C. 12.5%).Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
