What We NeedCorpay is currently looking to hire a Payment Processor within our Paymerang division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is located in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will handle payment processing tasks, including outbound and inbound calls, and support the onboarding of new hires. You will report directly to the Operations Manager and regularly collaborate with the Payment Processor team, Support, and Client Success.How We WorkAs a Payment Processor, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:Assigned workspace in Richmond, VACompany-issued equipment Formal, hands-on trainingRole ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the role will include:Making outbound calls to process payments using BizPay or PegaHandling inbound calls after the initial training periodContacting vendors via phone or email to complete paymentsUsing critical thinking to resolve incomplete client informationParticipating in daily team standups and contributing to team chat discussionsCollaborating with PP2s and support teams for escalationsSupporting new hire training through side-by-sides and mentoringPerforming other duties as assignedQualifications & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).1+ years of call center or customer service experienceStrong communication and de-escalation skillsCritical thinking and problem-solving abilityTeamwork and collaboration mindsetProficiency with BizPay, Pega, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Citrix WorkspaceExperience in retail or receptionist roles preferredFamiliarity with payment systems or financial operations preferred Benefits & PerksMedical, Dental & Vision benefits available the 1st month after hireAutomatic enrollment into our 401k plan (subject to eligibility requirements)Virtual fitness classes offered company-wideRobust PTO offerings including: major holidays, vacation, sick, personal, & volunteer timeEmployee discounts with major providers (i.e. wireless, gym, car rental, etc.)Philanthropic support with both local and national organizationsFun culture with company-wide contests and prizesEqual Opportunity/Affirmative Action EmployerCorpay is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
