Job briefWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to lead the design and governance of enterprise data solutions, with a strong focus on Snowflake and Azure ADLS. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in data architecture, integration, and governance frameworks, along with the ability to align business needs with scalable and secure data platforms. While Salesforce knowledge (especially Salesforce Industries) and insurance industry experience are not mandatory, they are valuable assets for this role.This is a remote role with flexible location, but candidates must be able to work in the California (PST) time zone.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and implementation of enterprise data architecture across Snowflake and Azure ADLSDefine and enforce data management, governance, and quality frameworks aligned with enterprise standardsDevelop and optimize data models, data integration flows, and pipelines for scalability and performanceEstablish and maintain best practices for security, compliance, metadata management, and access controlsCollaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and enterprise architects to ensure alignment with business and technical goalsProvide architectural leadership in integration of Salesforce (Industries/Financial Services Cloud) and other enterprise platforms into the data ecosystemDrive performance optimization strategies for large-scale data sets and analytics workloadsMentor technical teams and provide guidance on data architecture standards, tools, and methodologiesSupport roadmap definition for enterprise data strategy, including cloud adoption, data lakehouse integration, and advanced analyticsRequirements8+ years of experience in data architecture, with a proven track record in enterprise-scale projectsStrong expertise in Snowflake and Azure ADLSSolid knowledge of data governance frameworks, master data management, and metadata practicesHands-on experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and integration architectureDeep understanding of security, compliance, and performance optimization in cloud-based data platformsExperience collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders, translating needs into actionable data solutionsLeadership experience guiding teams and driving enterprise-wide data strategy initiativesSalesforce knowledge (Industries/Financial Services Cloud) is a plusInsurance industry experience is desirable but not requiredExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work effectively in PST (California) time zone
