About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Control Technician to join our team at MN Plant A, MNPLA. As a Process Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production line and equipment. Your primary goal will be to maintain and improve the quality of our products through the use of statistical process control and root-cause analytical techniques. You will also be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, machine set-up, and troubleshooting production equipment issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. This is a Monday - Friday Position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with statistical process control and root-cause analytical techniques
Experience with PLC's and other production control systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
Experience with Six Sigma methodologies
Responsibilities:
Monitor and control the production line using PLC's and other control systems to ensure product quality and consistency
Perform root-cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues
Perform preventive maintenance and machine set-up to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
Maintain accurate records of production data and equipment maintenance
Skills:
As a Process Control Technician, you will use your expertise in process control, statistical process control, and PLC's to ensure the efficient operation of our production line and equipment. You will also use your skills in root-cause analytical techniques, preventive maintenance, and machine set-up to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. Your ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics will be essential in maintaining accurate records of production data and equipment maintenance. Additionally, experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies will be beneficial in optimizing our production processes.
