Job Title: Junior Data AnalystLocation: Washington, DCDuration: 12-15 months (Possibilities of extension/conversion)Highly preferring Local candidates.Overview:Quintrix is on the lookout for professionals who are open to upskill to the exciting world of Data Analysis. This opportunity is for our direct client in Banking/financial Services and includes a 4 week Instructor-led online pre-employment training program (15 hours per week), conveniently scheduled after business hours. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a $500 stipend. This is a fantastic chance to gain in demand skills, hands-on experience, and a pathway into a dynamic tech role.Key Responsibilities:• Perform SQL queries to extract and analyze data• Create reports and dashboards using Excel or BI tools• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business data needs• Participate in ongoing data management and improvement initiativesRequired Skills:• Good knowledge of SQL• Strong understanding of Excel (formulas, pivot tables) or BI tools• Strong analytical and logical thinking• Good communication skills and a positive attitude• High attention to detail• Eagerness to learn and grow in the data domainNice to Have:• Experience with Power BI or other BI tools• Basic knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms• Understanding of Data Governance or MDM concepts (academic exposure acceptable)• Internship experience in data-related rolesEducation Requirements:• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related fieldSelection Process:• Online assessment and technical interview with Quintrix• Client interview(s)• 4-week pre-employment online instructor-led trainingStipend paid during Training:• $500.Who is Quintrix?Quintrix is on a mission to help individuals develop their technology talent.
