We license our software in support of a wide range of applications including financial services, law enforcement, military, and consumer electronics.Responsibilities Include Design, provision, and manage infrastructure both in the cloud and on-premises using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), primarily through Terraform for multi-cloud. Additional proficiencies in frameworks like Bicep for Azure-native deployments are advantageous. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous deployment processes. Designing, implementing, and managing cloud storage solutions (e.g., Azure Blob Storage, AWS S3). Implementing and optimizing cloud database services (e.g., Azure Cosmos DB, AWS Aurora) ensuring data consistency, security, and availability across relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) platforms. Deploying and maintaining container orchestration platforms (e.g., Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)). Managing and configuring cloud-specific networking and traffic management services (e.g., AWS Route 53, Azure Traffic Manager, Network Gateway, Azure Virtual Hub). Implementing and maintaining Web Application Firewalls (WAF) for enhanced security. Implement and oversee cost-management practices for both on-prem and cloud-based resources to optimize spending. Operate and manage service-oriented and microservice architectures to ensure robust and scalable system performance. Manage environment with heavy use of containers (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes) Experience with additional monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). Monitor system performance and security, and proactively address issues as they arise. Work with distributed queuing systems to ensure reliable data processing and integration across different parts of the infrastructure. Required Skills and Experiences: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 10 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role. Strong proficiency with Terraform for both cloud and on-prem infrastructure management. Experience in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with various build and package management systems (CMake, NPM, Maven, Gradle, etc.) and surrounding infrastructure (Docker) related to the creation of software artifacts supporting operational deployments Demonstrable experience with cost management in cloud and on-prem environments. Familiarity with operating distributed queuing systems such as RabbitMQ, Amazon MQ, Kafka, or similar. Proficient in configuration, scaling, backup, and restore of both relational databases like PostgreSQL and non-relational databases like MongoDB. Familiarity with use of AI tooling and orchestration to streamline task completion Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Other Relevant Desired Skills and Experience: Certifications in cloud services (AWS, Azure).
